The great gold rush on State Street
Citizens Against Unfair Insurance Practices. The group is pushing for legislation that would allow policyholders who are given the run around by insurance firms to Sue for punitive damages and attorney fees. Currently policyholders usually can only obtain the amount the insurance company would have paid on a policy if it had paid immediately - which the advocacy group says encourages insurance companies to delay.
